¿The Woman Behind the Voice Lilian Viana was born in the city of Belo Horizonte capital of the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Born and raised in a traditional middle class family, Lilian began at the age of eight as a hostess and newscaster on a TV program called "Universidade Popular da Manhã" (Popular University in the Morning). This cultural and educational show for children and adolescents was aired by TV Itacolomy, which became TV Tupi and eventually merged with TV Manchete, one of the largest TV networks in Brazil at that time. As a singer, at a very young age, she participated in several school and regional musical events, always attaining good results and receiving recognition. Theater and Dance were her two other passions in life.

- Lilian is presently involved in the recording of her first solo CD, a project she began a few years ago and had to be postponed due to personal reasons, and also with the production of a music video.
- With the Paulo Gualano Brazilian & Latin Productions, Lilian performed as the female lead singer at the Brazilian Carnival Ball in Toronto, Canada in February 2002.
- In July 2002 Lilian took a road trip with the Stowaways to Asheville, NC. The band performed at the exclusive Biltmore Forest Country Club, and took in some of the beautiful local scenery as well.
With the Stowaways, Lilian had the opportunity to share the stage with the legendary Jimmy Buffett on two different occasions. In Tampa, FL for the corporate launch party of his new restaurant chain “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and then again in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. Due to the success of theses performances, the band was iinvited to perform at the grand opening of the first “Cheeseburger in Paradise” in Indianapolis, IN, and also as the opening act for Jimmy Buffet on several performances of his “Far Side of the World” tour. For instance: In June 2003 Lilian and the Stowaways traveled to Puerto Aventuras, Mexico to entertain the guests at an exclusive beach party for two nights. - Also in June 2003, Lilian and the Stowaways traveled to Albany, NY to perform in the Alive at Five Concert Series 2003. The band was booked by Fantasma Productions to perform their now famous "Tribute to Jimmy Buffett" show. It was be parrothead central on Broadway as an estimated 10,000 people showed up to party.
